Withdraw

Withdrawing (also called revealing) moves value from your private balance out to any public Solana address.

Steps

  1. Open Withdraw / Reveal, enter a destination address and an amount.
  2. Review the confirmation, then confirm.
  3. The proof is generated and submitted; the destination receives the funds publicly.

What's revealed

A withdrawal is where private meets public: the destination address and amount become visible on-chain (that's the point — the money is now public). What stays hidden is which private note it came from and your other holdings — the spend is proven without linking to your deposit.

To preserve privacy, withdraw to a fresh address that isn't tied to your deposit wallet.

Change

Withdrawing part of a note leaves you a private change note for the remainder. Murk consolidates your notes first if needed so a single note covers the amount plus fee.

Tokens

You can withdraw SOL or any SPL token you hold privately. Token withdrawals create the recipient's token account if it doesn't exist (a small one-time rent, folded into the fee).

Costs

See Fees. In short: a relayer withdrawal costs a break-even fee (deducted from your note); self-submitting a SOL withdrawal costs only your own gas.
